On October 8, 2016, singer/songwriter took the stage at Workshop 13 Arts Center in Ware, Massachusetts to celebrate fifty years of making music. This double-length recording presents 27 of the songs from that show, including some of the between-song patter. From his first song, "Farewell", written in 1967, to "Come Along", written in August, 2016, this disc looks back at five decades of music.

Gary Blanchard grew up in Baltimore during the 50’s and 60’s. It was hearing Donovan’s Catch The Wind that made him decide to get a guitar.

Gary started performing solo in 1968.
Gary writes music that stays close to the folk tradition yet also reveals other influences. In performance, His songs focus on the need for hope and action while keeping a positive focus.
